O You who are the light of the world!

“I am the light of the world” (John 8:12)

Why do we need to try, daily, to live without You? All who distance themselves from You, O true Light, wade into sin, and darkness surrounds them.

"Without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5)
“The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light” (Matt 4 :16)

So that they cannot distinguish the snares set to catch them all along the way! O that we did not move away from You... In this way, we would not be entrapped by the deadly enemy.

"They tracked our steps So that we could not walk in our streets" (Lamentations 4:18)
“Escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will” (2Tim 2:26)
